It is well said that prevention is better than cure. Constipation is such a condition which just makes life difficult. So you need to follow certain things in your daily life so that you can prevent this issue from occurring once again.
  • Refrain from eating foods that cause constipation or makes the condition worse. Do not eat food that contains more fats, such as cheese, red meat, white bread, hard boiled eggs, etc. Also, decrease the consumption of food with refined sugar, such as candies and cookies. Do not eat processed food.
  • Do some mild exercises or yoga everyday to keep you active. This will promote a healthy bowel movement.
  • Avoid taking stress as it is considered as one of the causes of constipation.
  • Schedule your everyday bowel movement. This process will trigger your body to have a bowel movement at a particular time of the day.
  • Drink a lot of water to keep yourself hydrated. Most of the times insufficient water consumption causes constipation. Drink minimum 8 glasses of water per day. You can also take fluid in the form of fruit or vegetable juices.
  • Stop consuming alcohol if you are suffering from constipation as it may worsen the condition.
  • Include fruits and vegetables that are rich in fibre in your daily diet.
  • Like fibre-rich food, Vitamin-C rich fruits also help to treat mild to severe constipation issues. So include fruits that are rich in Vitamin C like orange, guava, orange, grapes, papaya, and apple in your daily diet to keep constipation at bay.
  • You can cook your food in olive oil, add it to your marinades, and use it in your salads to get the maximum benefits of olive oil for constipation.

Activity Summary: Kīlauea Volcano continues to erupt at its summit and East Rift Zone. Lava continues to enter the ocean at Kamokuna and surface flows remain active within 2.4 km (1.5 mi) of the vent at Puʻu ʻŌʻō. These lava flows currently pose no threat to nearby communities. The surface height of the lava lake in the Halemaʻumaʻu Overlook crater was roughly 13 m (43 ft) below the floor of Halemaʻumaʻu crater when measured this morning.

Summit Observations: Similar to yesterday's measurement, the lava lake surface was about 13 m (43 ft) below the floor of Halemaʻumaʻu crater when measured this morning. Slight inflationary tilt continues at the summit. A tiltmeter with data that are posted on the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory website was repaired yesterday, and is again reflecting activity on the volcano. Seismicity rates were at background levels, and as is typical, tremor fluctuated in response to changing lava lake circulation, spattering, and rockfalls. Sulfur dioxide emission rates ranged from about 1,700 to 2,300 metric tons/day over the past week, when measurements were possible during trade wind conditions.

Puʻu ʻŌʻō Observations: Webcam images show persistent glow in long-term sources within the crater. Slight deflationary ground tilt has been recorded on nearby tiltmeters; seismicity rates are at background levels. The sulfur dioxide emission rate from all East Rift Zone vents was about 270 metric tons/day when last measured in late December.

Lava Flow Observations: The episode 61g flow is still active and entering the ocean at Kamokuna. Significant delta development was not observed by HVO scientists on a helicopter overflight conducted Wednesday. Very steep bathymetry may be inhibiting reformation since the New Year's Eve collapse event. Thermal images show an area of high temperature about 5-10 m (16-33 ft) from the edge of the sea cliff, with hot cracks running parallell to the sea cliff around the entry point, suggesting sea cliff instability. Scattered surface flows from a small breakout that occurred on January 22 are still active close to the 61g vent, as are surface flows on a secondary branch of the 61g flow. All surface flows are occurring close to Puʻu ʻŌʻō, within about 2.4 km (1.5 mi) of the 61g vent. The episode 61g flows pose no threat to nearby communities at this time.

As a strong caution to visitors viewing the ocean entry (where lava meets the sea), there are additional significant hazards besides walking on uneven surfaces and around unstable, extremely steep sea cliffs. Venturing too close to an ocean entry exposes you to flying debris created by the explosive interaction between lava and water. Also, the new land created is unstable because it is built on unconsolidated lava fragments and sand. This loose material can easily be eroded away by surf, causing the new land to become unsupported and slide into the sea. In several instances, such collapses, once started, have also incorporated parts of the older sea cliff. This occurred most recently on December 31. Additionally, the interaction of lava with the ocean creates a corrosive seawater plume laden with hydrochloric acid and fine volcanic particles that can irritate the skin, eyes, and lungs.

There is no sure way to prevent colds, especially in children. As children grow into adults, they naturally get fewer colds.
The following may help protect you against catching colds:
- Wash your hands often, especially when you are around people with colds.
- Stop smoking. Smoking irritates the mucous membranes of the nose, sinuses, and lungs, which may make them more susceptible to infections.
- Keep your stress levels under control. If you are exposed to cold viruses, a high level of stress may increase your chances of catching a cold.
- When you have a cold, avoid sneezing without covering your mouth. Also avoid spreading nasal secretions on your hands.
- Use disposable tissues rather than a handkerchief.
Colds can't be prevented with:
- Antibiotics, which also will not prevent complications.
- Large doses of vitamin C, zinc or other vitamins and minerals
- The flu vaccine, which only protects against the influenza virus

தேவையான பொருட்கள்: 


எலுமிச்சை - 1/2 பேக்கிங் சோடா - 2 டேபிள் ஸ்பூன் டீ-ட்ரீ ஆயில் - 2 துளிகள்

செய்முறை #1 


முதலில் ஒரு பௌலில் பேக்கிங் சோடாவைப் போட்டு, அத்துடன் எலுமிச்சையைப் பிழிந்து, டீ-ட்ரீ ஆயிலையும் சேர்த்து நன்கு கலந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும். 

செய்முறை #2 

பின்பு தயாரித்து வைத்துள்ள பேஸ்ட்டை முகத்தில் தடவி 3 நிமிடம் ஊற வைக்க வேண்டும். மறுமுறை இந்த ஃபேஸ் பேக்கைப் போடும் போது 10 நிமிடம் ஊற வைக்க வேண்டும்.

செய்முறை #3 

பிறகு வெதுவெதுப்பான நீரில் முகத்தைக் கழுவ வேண்டும். சென்சிடிவ் சருமம் கொண்டவர்கள், இந்த மாஸ்க் உடன் சிறிது நீரை சேர்த்து கலந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும். 


நன்மைகள் 

இந்த ஃபேஸ் மாஸ்க்கை வாரத்திற்கு ஒருமுறை போட்டால், சருமத் துளையின் ஆழத்தில் உள்ள அழுக்குகள் வெளியேற்றப்படுவதோடு, இறந்த செல்களும் வெளியேற்றப்பட்டு, சருமம் புத்துணர்ச்சியுடனும், பிரகாசமாகவும் இருக்கும். இந்த ஃபேஸ் மாஸ்க்கில் உள்ள டீ-ட்ரீ ஆயில் பிம்பிள், முகப்பரு போன்றவற்றைப் போக்க வல்லது. எலுமிச்சை சாறு, பருக்களால் வந்த தழும்புகளை மறைக்கும்.

பொடுகு இன்று எல்லாருக்குமான பொது பிரச்சனை. இந்த பிரச்சனையால் பலருக்கும் முடி உதிர்தல், அடர்த்தி குறைந்து அழகில்லாமல் இருக்கும். இதற்கு பாட்டி வைத்தியம் இங்கே கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

பொடுகு குழந்தைகள் முதற்கொண்டு வயதானவர்கள் வரை உண்டாகும் தொற்று. இது பூஞ்சைகளாலும் பாக்டீரியாக்களாலும் உண்டாகும். பொடுகு அதிகப்படியான முடி உதிர்தலையும், வறட்சியையும் உண்டாக்கும். பொடுகிற்கு ஷாம்பு போட்டால் இன்னும் அதிகமாகும். ஆகவே முதல் வேலையாக ஷாம்புவை தவிருங்கள். எளிதான பழைய கால வழிமுறைகள், பாரம்பரியமானவைகள் எவையும் நம் கூந்தல் வளர்ச்சியை பாதிக்காது. குறிப்பாக நமது முந்தைய காலத்தினருக்கு இப்போது போல் அதிகம் பொடுகு எற்பட்டதில்லை. அவர்கள் சொன்ன குறிப்புகளை பார்க்கலாம்.

பால் மற்றும் மிளகுப் பொடி : 


பாலுடன் மிளகு பவுடரை சேர்த்து கலந்து கொள்ளுங்கள். இந்த கலவையை தலையில் தேய்த்து 15 நிமிடங்கள் கழித்து தலைமுடியை அலசவும். வாரம் ஒருமுறை செய்தால் பொடுகு மாயமாகிவிடும்.

பசலைக் கீரை : 


பசலைக் கீரை பூஞ்சை தொற்றை அழிக்கக் கூடியது. பசலைக் கீரையை அரைத்து தலையில் தேய்த்து 20 நிமிடம் கழித்து தலைமுடியை அலசவும்.

அருகம்புல் :

அருகம்புல் சாறு எடுத்து தேங்காய் எண்ணையுடன் சேர்த்து நன்றாக காய்ச்சி பின் ஆறவைத்து தினசரி இதனை தலையில் தேய்த்தால் பொடுகு மறையும்.

வினிகர் : 

தலைக்கு குளித்தபின்பு தலையை துவட்டாமல் கொஞ்சம் வினிகரை தண்ணீரில் கலந்து தலைக்கு குளித்து அதன்பின்பு துவட்டினால் பொடுகு மறையும்.

மருதாணி இலை : 


மருதாணி இலையை அரைத்து அதனுடன் கொஞ்சம் தயிர், எலுமிச்சை சாறு கொஞ்சம் சேர்க்கவும். இந்த கலவையை கூந்தலின் அடிப்பாகத்தில் தடவி அரை மணி நேரம் கழித்து தலைமுடியை அலசவும். இது நல்ல பலன் தரக் கூடியது. சைனஸ் பிரச்சனை இருப்பவர்கள் 15 நிமிடம் இருந்தால் போதுமானது.

யூகலிப்டஸ் தைலம் : 


யூகலிப்டஸ் எண்ணெயை சூடாக்கி, தலையில் தடவி மசாஜ் செய்யுங்கள். பின்னர் ஒரு துண்டை சூடான நீரில் நனைத்து பிழிந்து தலையில் கட்டவும். அரை மணி நேரம் கழித்து குளித்தால் பொடுகு காணாமல் போகும்.
